At Wandering Turtle Art Gallery & Gifts
our mission is to support local, regional and international
artists and musicians and to help create a thriving downtown
Bloomington Arts Community. We are committed to preserving
and nurturing the unique spirit of Bloomington by
strengthening locally owned small businesses,
celebrating our diversity and respecting the natural beauty
of our surrounding environment. We are committed to opening
the doors of art accessibility and appreciation
to all who wander into Wandering Turtle.

The featured exhibit area has a stage (to the right) for our musical artists to perform!

In January 2009 we wandered just around the corner from our previous College Avenue location to the Historic Wicks Building in the Heart of Bloomington's downtown arts district on Gallery Row! We are now located on the North side of the Courthouse Square at 116 W. 6th St. under the bright red awning, next door to Gallery North, two doors down from Pictura Gallery. We are also pleased to announce that the gallery is now fully handicapped accessible.

Monday- Friday: 10:30 am - 6:30 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am - 6:30 pm
Sunday: 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Exhibitors Our exhibitors include artists and craftspeople from around the world, although we concentrate on a variety of multi-media work by over 100 local and regional artists. We feature paintings, ceramics, photography, sculpture, jewelry, hand made paper, note cards, and artist's prints. Please come visit us soon, or contact us with your inquiries.
